Tips on Finding a Wedding Venue

1. Visit the Venue - It is always best to go and look at the location your are considering for you wedding in person.

2. Consider Your Guests - When choosing your venue it is always a good idea to make the reception location with in close driving distance of your ceremony location, this makes things easier for your guests to commute and this will also give you maximum time to enjoy your reception.

3. Food & Drinks - Research if the venue offers food and bar service, or if you have to bring in an out side caterer. This is one of the most important aspects when choosing your location. Make sure you ask this question when you meet with the hall manager or maitre d' and make it clear that you would like to know this up front.

4. Budget - There are 2 ways you can go in this case... If you have an ample budget you may consider a hotel, a mansion or castle, if you are on a tight budget and looking for something less expensive you may consider a local hall that already has tables and chairs or you may also consider having both the ceremony and reception in the same location.
