Tips on Selecting a Wedding Photographer
1. Meet the Photographer in Person - This is the most important step in the process, is meeting the photographer face to face. Make sure upon meeting with the photographer that the person you meet with is the actual photographer who is going to handle your event on the day of your wedding.
2. Experience Level - Has this person photographed other weddings? Does he/she do this for a living or for fun? Make sure the photographer that you select is experienced, it is also a good idea to consider selecting a photographer that has covered an event at the venue you have chosen.
3. Photographic Style - Make sure that the images you are shown is to your liking, also try to picture yourself photographed the same way. Decide if your style is photojournalism, formal, classic or contemporary. Most of all make sure you and your fiancee are happy with what you were shown at the meeting.
4. Budget - There are several ways you can go so far as packages. There are economical and cost saving packages that include only digital images on disc, or you may select a package that includes full day coverage that will also include and wedding album. You also want to make sure that your images will be posted online so your family and friends can order photos.
