Biography Harold Wherry Founder of the "Blue Breeze Band" Electric and nylon string acoustic guitars Harold’s stylistically wide-range and soulful guitar playing have a unique way of catching the collective ear. During his formative years, Harold was influenced by a steady diet of R&B, blues and jazz on the club scene in Los Angeles, and he, himself, has contributed immeasurably to that very scene as a professional musician. As a teenager he backed soul/R&B singer Bobby Byrd (aka: Bobby Day - writer of “Rockin Robin” "Over and Over" and "Little Bitty Pretty One"); later he backed jazz/blues saxophonist “Big Joe Burrell” and “Joe Houston”; vocalist Micky Champion, Zola Moon and Canadian vocalist Dutch Mason. During the Vancouver Island Music-Fest he performed side by side with blues icon “Sonny Rhodes.” An avowed collector of rare guitars, Harold sometimes travels great distances to locate a special six-stringer. Harold has 20 years of experience performing Live Music Entertainment!
