Biography After graduation, Bill worked in commercial radio in Chicago and Milwaukee and did weddings on the side. So, music intuition is something that comes natural through extensive experience and passion for music. Bill has DJ'd over 1,000 weddings since Double Platinum opened its doors over a decade ago. Programming music content at a wedding can change minute by minute. The most important aspect is the bride and grooms personal requests, then % of guests requests they prefer played, and then demographic of the guests. Speciality Our philosophy here at Double Platinum is really quite simple. We strive to keep the spotlight on the bride and groom throughout the event. We never try and steal the spotlight from the bride and groom. Your guests are not traveling to your wedding to come see us, although we will provide great entertainment that spotlights the attention to the newlyweds. Above all, we are never cheesy. We treat weddings as they should...with class.
Education Bill Spindler knows music. Bill received his degree in mass communications/media arts from Southern Illinois University. Throughout college, Bill worked at the college radio station, DJ'd at local bars, and Double Platinum became a reality with it's first wedding back in late 1994.
