• What is your event cancellation policy? I only require a $50 deposit, which is nonrefundable if you cancel your wedding..

• What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? N/A.

• What are your standard payment terms? $50 nonrefundable deposit to hold your date, then balance due at your rehearsal or wedding in the form of cash or a money order, unless prior arrangements are made..

• What makes you different from other local wedding officiants? Why should someone hire you? I am experienced and have a well-established business with a good reputuation in my local area. My clients give me positive feedback about my warm and calm demeanor and ability to create meaningful ceremonies they desire..

• What documents do I need to bring to our first meeting? No documents, only ideas, if any, of what you might like for your ceremony..

• How long after the ceremony do you file for the official marriage license? Within 5 days, usually sooner..

• What kind of pre-wedding counseling is required, if any? None..

• How many wedding do you officiate a year? 100+.

• How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel fee? I will generally travel up to a 20-mile radius from my offices in the Tigard area of SW Portland. There is a small fee for anything that is further out than 15 miles..

• How long does the ceremony usually last? Depending on how full or how simple you wish, anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes..

• Will you marry couples of different faiths or previous divorce? Yes..

• Will you allow us to write our own vows? Yes. I also offer many choices of pre-written vows if you prefer..

• Do you have a back up officiant on call, in case of an emergency? Yes, I am associated with other ministers and we cover for each other..

• Do you normally attend the reception? No, but thank you for asking..

• In which states and communities are you licensed to officiate ceremonies? The greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA metro areas..

• Can we read or hear your ceremony before our wedding day? Yes. Soon after the initial consultation I send a script of the entire ceremony, which we can revise and fine-tune up until shortly before your wedding..
