• How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel charge? I will go boldly wherever the bride sends me. That is my duty. It's gonna cost ya -- cost-reimbursement for airline travel plus 25 percent, with per diem and car/ground charges; or .... let's work something out that meets our needs and your budget. • How would you describe your photographic style? What does this mean? I carefully light and pose group/formal photos and individual portraits, such as with the bride several days before the wedding or the groom the day before. But the reception and dance event, or cocktail hour, provides for some really sweet and unusual opportunities. I am amazed at how often my candid subjects will say, "Oh, I didn't see you there!" At a recent New Year's Eve wedding party, a young guy at the bar called me "The Ninja Photographer," which just made my night!.

• How many pictures do you take? Can I provide a list of posed photos for you to take? A day-long wedding usually means 75-100 posed, formal images; the cocktail party/wedding recepton brings another 350-500; and, the pre-ceremony events (family dinner, rehearsal, day-of make-up and hair) can add another 75-100 images. I really, really want that list of photos and will encourage you to develop it months ahead of time... then I will hound you until you send it, because planning is so important to making it all seem so effortless. .
