Questions & Answers
  • What are your standard payment terms? Cash, money order, or personal checks are accepted for the deposit to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance may be paid on the day of the wedding by cash or money order only..

  • What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? I guarantee that all couples who choose me to officiate their wedding ceremony will be legally married!.

  • What makes you different from other local wedding officiants? Why should someone hire you? I work with couples to ensure that their wedding ceremony is exactly the way they want them to be. I honor and respect the couple's views without regard to race, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. I have only requirement of the couples who choose me as their officiant, and that is that they be in love!.

  • What is your event cancellation policy? Should you need to reschedule your wedding date, I will be happy to do so provided I have the rescheduled date available on my calendar. .

  • How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel fee? I will travel anywhere along the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand, SC area -- from North Myrtle Beach to Georgetown.

  • How many wedding do you officiate a year? 30-40.

  • What kind of pre-wedding counseling is required, if any? None.

  • How long after the ceremony do you file for the official marriage license? Within one week.

  • What documents do I need to bring to our first meeting? You need not bring any documents with you to the first meeting. However, I must have your wedding license in hand prior to conduct of your wedding ceremony or I will not be able to perform a legal ceremony for you..

  • Will you marry couples of different faiths or previous divorce? Yes..

  • Will you allow us to write our own vows? Of course..

  • How long does the ceremony usually last? The length of the ceremony depends on what the couple chooses to include, such as a sand unity ceremony, blessing of the hands, special readings or songs, etc. I advise couples to limit the ceremony to 30 minutes or less. Any longer, and guests start to get fidgety. On the flip side, if the ceremony is too short, guests somehow feel cheated! Together, we will work to ensure that the length of your ceremony is perfect..

  • Do you normally attend the reception? No..

  • Do you have a back up officiant on call, in case of an emergency? Yes.

  • Can we read or hear your ceremony before our wedding day? Absolutely..

  • In which states and communities are you licensed to officiate ceremonies? South Carolina.
