What makes you different from other local wedding officiants? Why should someone hire you? I am able to issue marriage licenses for Los Angeles County, even on site on day of ceremony. This is a huge convenience for many couples. My many years in public speaking and wedding Ministry sets me apart. My focus is on the Bride and Groom as this is their day to shine and their ceremony should be remembered with joy all life long. I have no agenda I bring to the ceremony but for the joy and magnification of the Bride and Groom..
What are your standard payment terms? I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold the day and time. The remainder due (including rehearsal fee if any) is payable on the day of the ceremony. The deposit is non-refundable unless there is extreme hardship..
What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? Should you become unsatisfied with my services, and we are unable to resolve the issue. You can cancel my services with a full refund of your deposit..

How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel fee? For any weddings beyond LA County there is a $25 travel fee. If the wedding is two counties away then the fee is $35..
How many wedding do you officiate a year? It varies between 80 and 110 or so..
What kind of pre-wedding counseling is required, if any? If the couple requests, I have a complete pre-wedding inventory for the couple to follow. This usually takes 4 or 5 meetings. There is a fee for this service..
How long after the ceremony do you file for the official marriage license? I send the information to the county along with a certificate of mailing within 3 working days of the ceremony..
What documents do I need to bring to our first meeting? The license issued by the county. A deposit to secure the date and time, and any copies of ceremony elements that you really like..
Will you marry couples of different faiths or previous divorce? Yes I will..
How long does the ceremony usually last? They range from the simple 15 minute to the more involved 35 to 45 minute ceremony depending on the amount of music and number of elements in the ceremony..
Do you normally attend the reception? If requested by the Bride and Groom and I don't have another commitment that requires my leave..
Do you have a back up officiant on call, in case of an emergency? Yes I do..
Will you allow us to write our own vows? Yes, I find that to be a very romantic and binding experience for the couple..
Can we read or hear your ceremony before our wedding day? Yes. With your input, I will design a ceremony that is custom made for you..
