• How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? As soon as possible, the wedding season is here and bookings are going fast. Very limited availablitly for 2008 and moderate availability for 2009..

• What are your standard payment terms? How much is the deposit? All retainers are at least 25% of the package you choose and is non refundable..

• What is your event cancellation policy? All retainers are non refundable..

• What is included in your basic wedding packages? All Packages include: Engagement Portrait Session Full Day Coverage High Resolution Picture DVD Free Online Proofing.

• Can guests view and order shots on-line? How soon will the photos be put on-line? You will have on line proofing available within 1 to 2 weeks from your special day, usually much quicker..

• Will you be taking digital photographs? Is there an extra charge for this service? All packages are based on digital photography. Film Photography is available for an additional 25% of any package price..

• What kind of equipment will you bring with you? Do you bring backup equipment? lighting? Digital SLR with Film SLR backup. Prefer to use natural light to minimal flash as needed..

• Can I keep the negatives? the proofs? Is there an extra charge for this service? How much? You will receive a High Resolution DVD of all the images from your special day with the full copyright release. I do retain use and copyright for my portfolio. If you do not wish me to have any copyrights, that is an additional $500.00 up charge..

• Do you bring an assistant to the wedding to help coordinate portraits? I usually do have an assistant, depending on the package and the wedding party size..

• Can we request both that both color and black & white photography be used at the wedding? I shoot entirely digital, which means that I have the ability to apply and type of color or black and white treatment to any photo..

• How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel charge? I am willing to travel anywhere with travel and lodging expenses paid. I do not charge for travel in the Hampton Roads area or the Outer Banks Region. Anything beyond that would require travel and hotel expenses for the day prior and the night of the Wedding..

• How would you describe your photographic style? What does this mean? Photo Journalistic with touches of modern and traditional styles. I like to think of it as a picture story of your important day. I do have the traditional family photos and the bridal party photos, but I like to shoot what is happening rather than try to recreate or stage something. Getting the pure emotion of the day in photographic form is my goal!.

• How many pictures do you take? Can I provide a list of posed photos for you to take? With my photo journalistic approach, I take many more than the required photos. I average between 400 to 800 images shot. I tend to get all the photos that you want without you knowing but if you have specific concerns about a certain photo or two, I have no problem accommodating. Because of the fluid nature of Weddings and events in general, it is very difficult to follow a shoot list precisely. .

• How many weddings have you photographed? I have photographed 25 weddings in the past 5 years I have been in business, not counting all the weddings and other events before in business..

• How quickly will I receive my prints? All Packages will be available 4 to 6 weeks after the wedding day. Your prints will be available as soon as you pick the photos you want online and place an order. After the order is placed allow 2 to 4 weeks for prints..

• What makes you different from other local photographers? Why should someone hire you? I believe that you have the right to have all your photos and be able to print them whenever you wish. .
